Sanders Hand And Pediatric Therapy
When someone experiences an injury or medical condition of the upper extremity it can have a serious impact on how they function in their home and work. It can affect the way they care for their personal needs, perform their jobs and participate in athletic and exercise activities.
Many people who have suffered what they thought was an insignificant hand or finger injury came to know the critical difference made by seeing a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) for their rehabilitation.
CHTs are committed to your long term health and living a pain-free, functional lifestyle without hand pain or disfunction.
Children that are born with or develop physical, emotional, or behavioral dysfunction can be an overwhelming challenge for parents and educators. Our pediatric service is a one-on-one opportunity to work with a highly skilled and experienced pediatric Occupational Therapist to stimulate and retrain the pediatric body and brain for success.
Involving the child and his family or caregiver in the rehabilitation process is key. Discover the plasticity of the child during his growth and development and watch the changes occur for the child's success.
We want to get to know our patients and their families. In order to avoid the complications of any language barrier, we have a bilingual translator on staff who is able to assist in the registration/scheduling process and during treatment.
Sanders Hand Therapy operates under a nondiscrimination policy. Below is a resource for 65 languages, including a notice of non-discrimination:
